Motor height adjustment question... after using search
okay. so i read all the other threads i can with the search function.
but i still have one question that is not answered. should the motor sound more toward the tight side or more whinny side? i like how quiet it sounds when it is more toward the tight side but which would give me minimal long term gear wear? thanks |

Adjust for minimum whine. Easier if you don't have an EG1000 in there, EG700s are quieter.

usually, you can tight it at 1/4 turn at the time, then when it start making noise, un-tight about 1/2 turn.
That is about as close as you can get to perfect... |
