Gun is fixed with regular crazy glue.

I did a full teardown as well and found the same sludgy grease that Colin described. Gobs of it everywhere. The piston head was misshapen. one side was a full 2mm off. Replaced it. Range and accuracy greatly improved.

Trigger return springs on these echo/jg guns all seem way too strong compared to marui/ca. It makes them a bitch to work with. Recommend changing them out.

Do all mp5ks have double-ported cylinders?

My old Marui didn't, was made in 2002 or maybe 2003. The port was at about the 2/3 level though.

Not all JG MP5s are metal, there is a specific model that comes with a metal body but there are about 4 other models with plastic bodies.

The MP5K cylinder hole is near the middle, on TMs there's only one hole on after market cylinders there may be two or four holes.

Jg makes the mp5 ris with a metal body. I have one of those too. They do not make a metal body K. Yet. They now have an mp5k cqc with a mean railed front end (like the maruzen) and crane stock. Very Juicy
