Stock Tokyo Marui Mp5 A5 suggestions?

Hi ASC, as you can tell I am quite new to these boards (despite having signed up and verified a while back) and I was wondering what essential upgrades are needed for my stock TM MP5. I have read suggestions for new metal bushings and perhaps a spring kit, but what else is suggested?

Thanks.

P.S. Any organized leagues or clubs in the Toronto area for Airsoft? I'm more of a paintballer, but recently really got into the Mil-Sim area.

All you really need is a good battery and extra mags. Play a few games and you might start wanting a claw mount and red dot.

As for future use, maybe a light spring upgrade (it's an MP5 not an M40) and metal bushings with a bearing spring guide.

Honestly, with proper hop adjustment a stock MP5 will be superb for the first season until you learn about your gun and what parts will affect what.

Essential? A new set of bushings and a check of your shimming wouldn't hurt. Everything else can wait as Naglfar said above.

As Kokanee said, the only essential part is a set of metal bushings plus some skill to install and shim them properly.

For teams and events, check the appropriate section of the forums. It's all there. Since you have not posted often, now is the time to explore the forums and see how they are setup.
