maybe I should put my 13 month daughter's name from now on for shipping so when I go to WA during the long weekends and when I pass through customs they will look at my daughter and see that she been trying to import issues army supplies, now that is funny, she will be just there sitting in her car seat saying mamadada, bubudada to the officer... Yeah, I'm joking. They spend more on border control alone than all of Canada spends on everything.
BTW, this is not a new thing from the U.S. side. Long before I bought my AR in 2006, I was told about this by several retailers when I inquired about getting new do-dads for it. This was also when you couldn't find a new AR in Canada to save your life. Things have smoothed out since then on the actual gun supply, but the accessories are still fudged-up.
