I wouldnt worry about the pistol grip Droc, it was not uncommon during certain periods for AK's to be issued w/ wood butt/foregrip and a bakelite pistol grip.

Have you posted this up on www.redalliance.net ? Big russian airsofting enthusiast site.

Nice overall finish, i like the outcome, but for me the front grip needs to be paki style! :P
other then that very very nice work, i love the finished colour!

no, its a thumb hole. I got big hands and its fine. Put your thumb through the hole. Its a pivot point.

Wow dude, 500 USD is a lot of money I suppose..

I make complete AK47 kit with a steel outer barrel for 250 USD.. It takes me about 4 days to make one.. Here is the final product:



For the Zastava M76 sniper rifle kit, I charge the same amount..
