M14 EBR
Is the M14 EBR RAS considered a weapon receiver in the eyes of our friendly neighbourhood customs officers? I know, for instance, that I can bring back a M4 front end no problem.

Customs is a crap shoot, some things that should get through get busted (hell, springs have been taken before) and sometimes whole guns with trades make it through.

The EBR consists of a receiver.

I was not aware that it was a full body replacement, I was under the impression that it was more of an RAS addition on heroin. Thank you for the clarification Illusion.

That's true... actually, on M14's, the serials are on the upper receiver.
I guess the definition comes down to what a "receiver" is... and again, a customs officer could just look at it and say "well... looks like a replica." *yoink.* Buyer beware. |
