Hero Arms G36 C-MAG feeding problem

I've recently purchased HA G36C-MAG. After only one game i've noticed that no matter what i have to wind it constantly (like a maniac) to prevent dry firing. After doing some tests i've established the exact number of bb's my mag can feed on a full wind and it is... 4!!! :smack:

Disassembled it (it's all crappy plastic btw) and found out that there is no spring(!) to push bb's up the mag part (unlike hicaps or CA made c-mags).

Have anyone had similar problems? It seems that it is not a production flaw, but rather design one.

Any ideas / mods how to improve the feeding?

Thanks!

Well i haven't had personal experience but yes i have heard that Hero Arms makes shit Cmags and youre better off paying more for the King Arms one.

My friend had an LMG36 with a ridiculously high rate of fire and it didnt misfeed, their quality control must be all over the place.

my HA cmag has a hicap inside it. Its a G3 model so that might be why its different from yours and its also going on 2 years old so product might have changed. Did you leave it loaded? Does it make the unwinding sound "ZIZZZZZ?" Your anti reversal spring might be shot? Mine broke eventually. I have also put 70,000+ through it. Mild problems but mostly just the DC female plug (fixed w/ super glue) and the anti reversal spring (fixed w/ modded adjustments). I haven't had any problems that take more than 15 minutes to fix.

Good luck,

I have the Hero Arms M4 C-Mag and it works fine. I had to mod it a lil to fit my HK416 magwell but that was expected. No mechanical problems though...yet.
