Guarder Hi-Flow/High Performance Valve difference?

Just wondering if anyone know what the deal is, Guarder makes 2 kinds of aftermarket valve for hi-capa 5.1, Part# Capa-08(A) and CAPA-08(B), I discovered that the 2 I have were of the A variety. Since I was wondering as after a bunch of upgrades on my Hi-Capa that it can't even puncture 1 side of the coke can, so I took a look at the valve itself and realized that it is directional, with a notch that has to face up as the valve has only one BIG opening at that end, whereas the stock one has 4 holes in 4 directions. After adjusting the valve the bb goes straight through both sides and can crack the bottom. After this I look around the net and noticed the difference between the 2 guarder valves, B has 2 posts and the rest were hollow.

What exactly are the difference between these 2 kinds of aftermarket valves? And is one better than the other in power and/or consumption?

The hi-flow valves (B) lets through even more gas than the high performance valves, with all the implications that follow. I usually think of the hi-performance (A) as midway between a stock valve and the hi-flows (B).

what would be the point though to have the 2 types for no cost difference? In my case when I got them I guess I didn't realize there were 2 kinds, but would you really choose the former in any case(provided that you know that there are 2...lol)?

I would imagine that in Asia, there's more of a demand for the ability to finetune gas pistol operations. And while I doubt Guarder had this precisely in mind, the availability of the high performance valve for the 5.1 does allow TM1911 users to improve fps without completely destroying their shots-per-fill number, what with their single stacker gas capacity and all.

The type B is the "High Output" valve and lets out a bit more velocity.

The type A is the "High Performance" valve and lets out a bit less velocity than type A, but still more velocity than stock.

The major difference, being that the High Performance valve has tighter shot-to-shot velocity consistency than the stock or High Output valve. The High Output valve is recommended more for players after highest possible output rather than consistency.

You've installed them correctly, all uni-directional valves should be installed with the port facing up.
For most valves, when installing them, the port closest to facing up should have no supporting posts restricting release.
