Hogue Grip conundrum

So I've got a Hogue grip for my KJW P226. Here's the dilly. It doesn't fit the bastard. Now I've dremeled this little bastard down something fierce, but it's still off by a smidge. I'm kinda leary to keep dremeling in case I go right through the damn Rubber on the other side. I've tried to keep it even all round, but the Lead weight in the back keeps giving me issues.

Anybody own an P226 with an intergral Hogue grip (Not the sleeve one) and had this same issue who can either shed some light on it, or even better, take some photos of their dremel job for me to look see at?

I'm looking at you Illusion!

Whoops, totally realised this is in the wrong section. Can a Mod move it to the Upgrades and Modifications Forum please and thank-you!

Hey, italian stallion, if you dremel through the rubber there is salvation.
My buddy bought a hogue for the exact same gun, and put it on upside down and ripped it a bit. We ended up splitting it at the back and I was able to make his righty hogue into a lefty. A CT they have a plasti dip, which is uncured plastic and is normally used for tools to have a grip. Basically I had to slowly keep it together when it was curing, long process but boy did he like it.

Alright then, that part isn't a problem. Always good to hear. Now, about this dremeling business.

Additionally, I should add the pic just so people know which grips I'm trying to get to work.

God I feel dumb, I thought you were talking about the other grips.
My bad.
Too much wine I guess.
