Build a GBB from parts?
Just curious, is it possible to build a gbb from individual parts? As you can get a grip, lower frame, and slide lets say for a Hi-Capa 4.3, are there certain internals that you would have to purchase the actual Hi-Capa 4.3 to be functional or could you get whatever parts you need and just assemble it?
Reason I'm asking is simply because I was looking at the hicapa 4.3 but I would like to make it full metal and maybe extend the barrel a bit with a freedom art frame and comp or something... But if i'm replacing the slide, frame, and some internals anyway, it might be cheaper to just build it from parts, but maybe not. Anyway, just curious if it's been done or if there is something preventing it from being done. |

It will be at least 6 times more expensive.
The grip barrel & other peices you mentioned can be order via a local retailer. The internals will be almost imposable to source |

I'd say the gun with the most available parts are the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa series, and even still, you would have a complete EXTERIOR of the gun, but it would be impossible to get the remaining interior components of the gun without buying a Hi-Capa to begin with.

You could buy a parts gun. Exterior might be broken/shit but if all the internals are there, go for it.
