Eotech vs replica

How do they differ besides overall quality? Do they function the same?

The real eotechs have a holosight, whereas the replicas use something similar to red dots. Most of the replicas have a similar build quality, i'd definitely go with a replica from hurricane or one of the chinese ones for airsoft. They're all built pretty much the same and function the same.

You're also looking at a large price difference between the real ones and the replicas.

The only problems I can see with the replicas vs the real ones for airsoft use are that the replicas aren't particularly NVG compatible, and they put a fair amout of light out the front compared to most RDS'
