TM 1911 Magazine valve issues
Two things here.
First: I recently installed Nine Ball high flow valves in my 1911 mags and they suck! They stick partially open and looking closer, the o-ring at the tip (inside the mag) comes unseated and prevents the valve from closing fully. It happens with all three. Any ideas? Second: I just got all my internal upgrades done and the fill valves in my mags started leaking. They need new o-rings but before I discovered that I decided to try and tighten one. Well, I turned too hard and broke the collar of the fill valve. I cannot find anywhere that has this part. Anyone know where to get replacements? Thanks.. (stupid gun...) |

IIRC, I've heard nothing but bad things about the Nine Ball high flow valves for the 1911. Maybe it's best just not to use them.
You can get new stock TM parts from ASC user JAFA. Just email him with the part numbers.

Thanks. Wish I had known that about the valves before I spent $22 each. Ouch...
