Shooters Design metal slide for Hi-Capa 5.1
I've been trying to install a Shooters Design metal slide on my TM Hi-capa 5.1 and I've already broken off one of the legs on the front sight. Pretty much nothing fits PROPERLY with my Hi-capa. I also had to hammer the rear sight into place as well (with a bit of sanding I might add).
Now I've reached a huge problem that I've no idea how to fix. (The bottom part) The black part on the left has to be replaced with an included metal one else it will not fit into the slide. Now the problem is, the recoil spring fits just fine but the metal bar is a bit too large to slide into the included metal piece. What could I do to fix this issue? Thank you. -VM |

wow...
A) DO NOT USE HAMMERS TO ADJUST SIGHTS B) DO NOT CRAM PIECES TOGETHER im bettin that since you broke the leg off, it probably wont fire right anyways, and you probably need a smaller recoil bar and spring. |

Bore out the exit hole of the black part so that the spring guide will fit through.
Use a round file or dremel if you don't have a drillpress. Just make sure it's clean and even or the action won't be smooth. |
