KSC G19 Hop-Up Problems

Hi there. Lately I've been noticing that my shots where getting extremely inaccurate. When I stripped my gun i noticed that my hop up system was extremely loose and out of place. Additionally, i also saw that the hop up rubber seemed to be bent/damaged. It looks like its pretty much beyond repair.

If anybody can give me advice, it would be greatly appreciated. If somebody finds a place to buy replacement hop up systems that would also be great.

If you'd like me to make some pictures of the hop up, just post here or give me a pm.

I think pictures would help - I'd like to see exactly what's loose.
If the hopup rubber itself is damaged, there's at least one source I know of right off the bat here in Ontario that has them; check out airsoftparts.ca (Jugglez here on ASC) as they are showing a positive inventory.

Ditto, pics are required. I've dealt with just about every KSC G19 problem there is and came out with a successful fix (trade off is less hair at times).

A couple retarded yet higly effective fizes to that gun are to either use a larger O-ring on the inner barrel, or use a good wrap of tape to secure the inner barrel in the outer barrel, and also clean te inner barrel every hundred or two shots. GBBs gain incredible accuracy from having a tight inner barrel (KSC Glocks tend to have a good 1mm minimum in every direction amount of play) and giving the barrel a good cleaning will bring back lost accuracy.

KSC Glocks tend to have a loose inner barrel/hop up assembly anyways unless they are locked into the outer barrel and with the slide closed. So I'm suspecting an easy fix for you.

It seems like the rubber is some how swollen...

Ya, looks that way. I think they all do at some point anyways. I KNOW the rubber used on the KSC M11A1 mags and hop up swells really bad from absorbing silicon oil, but I've yet to have that problem with the Glock rubbers.

Try giving the rubber a good wash with dishsoap and hot water, then let it dry, it might shrink a bit.

Ya, and if not, just buy a new rubber.

Here, just found this (was looking for myself, but came across this for you):

http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=354

Shoot Jugglez on here a PM and buy the rubber for your gun, beats buying from overseas.
