Tokyo Marui M4 RIS battery?

I'm going to buy a Tokyo Marui M4 RIS In the next couple of weeks and I was wondering If anyone here could advise me of how many MaH can I go In a nicd battery and still be able to fit the battery in the PEQ battery box with no problems?.

Also what the difference between the Mini battery and the 8.4V battery that fits Into my Tokyo Marui MP5 A4, are the cells smaller or Is It the same battery without that many cells?.

Thanks.

I currently use a TM M4 RIS with its stock PEQ. I fit an 8.4v 1100mAH in it with no issues. I havent tried anything else with it.

I wish I could tell you more, but Im not an expert on batts.

Thanks for the reply. From the picture of your battery, It looks the same as my battery. How many shots would you say you get with a 8.4V, 1100 MaH battery during the summer time?.

same number of cells, but smaller.

Beware that some brands of 8.4v mini batteries are slightly longer than others depending on the type of cells used in making them.

ColtFarmers right, beware of brands.

Hmm was just at a MilSim 2 weeks ago, ran through about 20 mags maybe 23 at 65 rounds a mag. At the end of the day I was still firing strong so I dont its hard to say.

Ive got a battery shop in town that makes mine and over all they do pretty good. Thats all I knows.

that battery is not Ni-Cd.

I don't know why you would need Ni-Cd in summer since there is no cold weather issues.

As in Ni-MH, you can get some very good 1400's or 1500's

I was just specifying summer time cause I know you get more shot's during the summer then the winter with Nicd. I beleave the nimh are not affected as much as nicd by cold weather.

Can anyone recomend a good source to buy 1100 MaH 8.4V mini batteries, the place were Im going to buy my Tokyo Marui M4 RIS (Poweredge USA) only has the 600 MaH mini battery?.

Every store If done business with In the past dosen't seem have that good of a selection of mini batteries.

Thanks
