USP Compact, Witch??
Hi Folks,
There are some 1000.. topics about the USP compact on the web but none does realy give a (good) answer on the folowing question: Which USP compact is the "best"? And why? Many of you guys/gals have the KSC USP compact so that must bee a good GBB right? What about KJW, TM or other brands? I would like to have a good GBB (good internals etc), Which look "exaclty" like the RS version (initials etc). And btw, the RS USP is that a Full Metal Gun? And what about the blow back, is it good? I would like to have the idea that i have the real thing in my hands (not that i know how the real thing feels). Hope you guys can help me out cause i'm desperate Last edited by Chimera; June 13th, 2007 at 14:35.. |

The usp compact is not made by TM.
Personally i stear clear of ANYTHING kjw. The ksc usp compact i have owned twice in the past, and loved it to death. (literally) There is however a very serious design flaw.....the triggers break and are not easy to replace (to put it lightly) both my compacts spent a majourity of their time as paperweights. (due to this very trigger problem) The blowback is great, i've even seen it break the gun from being too strong. The mags are weird, no butterfly-clip. They require a loading rod and a weird little attachment. whats "RS" ??? ps: f**k grammer i just woke up private message me if you found this useful and would like more info (also have detailed pictures of the trig break)

RS: Real Steal, the real guns.
And indeed, TM is only USP, no compact. About the KSC, witch mags fit in the KSC USP C? only KSC mags? And the trigger breaks easily, is it possible to put another trigger in it (other/better brand)? and whats the difference between the KCS Taiwan Version, KCS Japan Version and the G&P Custom USP Compact Full Metal (only Metal Silde & Outer Barrel with ABS Frame?) ? |

The japan version is the EXACT same as the taiwan version, the difference is their quality control.
Half of the said gun are sent to a shop where they are taken apart and made sure to be good quality then stamped with the 'jasg' Making them -japan versions- and costing a little more. (reduce the chance of receaving a lemon aka a dud) The g&p custom is just with a pre-installed metal slide & barrel (making it able to handle propane aka green gas aka top gas) As said before the kickback is pretty strong and, even then i would recomend an upgraded recoil spring to reduce the chance of blowing out the back of the lower frame. The TM usp is an electric gun, NOT a gas gun. As i said before, the trigger is damn near impossable to replace. (assuming you live in canada) If you're located in the states please mention this, it'll make it a little easier to answer your questions. (since the USA has much better availablity of parts) -alex |

woops, typo
I live in Belgium, but ordering from outside Europe isn't a prob. Think i'll buy some spare parts with the USP, just in case. Do you know a good store who ships internationally with USP parts? Thanks for the info hattrick!! Last edited by Chimera; June 13th, 2007 at 14:52.. |

i beg to differ; well, most of their guns are pretty good (reliable, almost on par with TM, KSC) and they are a great deal considering the price you're paying.
why are there so many KJW M9, G23 / 27, P14, P8 / USP, P226 users because its a great bang for the buck and these guns proved their reliability, performance, compatibility (with TM) etc. i think KJW just released the M1911a1 :lick: full metal, clone of TM |
