When I got my first AEG I threw everything on. Look edcool, but was kinda heavy for me.

The double mag clamp is great, scope, laser and stuff nice if you think your gonna use it. If you play in the dark tho forgrip light is a must.

I've heard that a lot of places don't allow you to use lasers.

Forget the laser and get a flashlight. Much more useful in dark areas.

I don't see a mag clamp as being necessary or all that useful as long as you have a hi-cap or gear to put extra mags in. Once you get used to pulling mags out of pouches, it's just as fast of a change.

A silencer's not going to do anything but add to the length of the gun, which is bad for CQB. As soon as you shoot, people are going to hear it, silencer or not. It may quiet it a little, but it's not going to be silent.

IMO, skip the mag clamp, get a flashlight instead of a laser, lose the silencer, and get a red dot scope, either a full tube or a reflex style. Magnification scopes are useless in CQB.

for QCB-get the front handguard with the built in flashlight, that's all you need. With indoors you don't need to "aim" as much since everything is closer.

just make sure the laser is sub 5 mw... If it isn't it'll damage people's eyes.

for CQB I used a M16VN... It was a huge mother.. But I found more often than not I outranged people quite a bit. (In the larger areas, I tended to avoid the very very confined areas unless I was rushing with a team)

if your having trouble with range at XT, your gun has some serious issues. It's grouping your talking about
lasers are useless, tactical lights are only good if you know how to use them, the silencer it just for looks unless it allows you to put a longer barrel in the gun, dual mag clamps are very useful, and slings are only really used if you have a pistol. Red dot sights are also a good investment for indoor games.
All i did to my UMP was add an RDS and improve its grouping, now its awesome indoors.

Well, technically the RDS doesn't improve your grouping, just aiming ability. It's a lot easier to put a dot on the enemy than it is to keep the front/rear sights lined on a target...especially if you're playing in a dark cqb environment.

I have a claw mount on my MP5 and I love it. It's great because if for whatever reason your red dot dies in a game, you can still use your steel sights underneath it. I've never had any kind of issues with it in a CQB environment.
