Picky ICS...

Ok guys, you are all aware of the wiered messed up crap ICS guns can give you, well I think the M4 I have is the worst... just been one thing after another lol.

Well I just put the upper gearbox back to completely stock, the lower has Systema Flat gears, metal bushings, and a brand new trigger assembly as the stock one totaly fell apart and wore out. It just seems that now, after I upgraded it and put it back to stock enough for my smaller battery to run it, it wont run well at all, only performs well with my large 8.4 3300mah battery, but thats for my new gun now, so I had to go back enough to use my 9.6 2600 mah AA cell battery that fits in the foregrip. Both batteries are fully charged before I used them, so lack of juice isnt the case.

Now I know there would be a big difference between batteries, but it just will not agree with the smaller battery which should be more then enough to run a stock upper, it pulls it over somewhat weakly, and jams after some shots, dry or not. I am totaly lost here, could use some sugestions as to what is goin on? Need McGuyver on this bitch

Thanks

The GP-cell 2600mah AA Nimh batteries are designed for low-current applications. The recommended charge on the side says "245 mah', so that's a good indication it was not meant to run an AEG.

I had a couple of these built for me last year for an M4 and an AUG. Both guns were stock and neither of these batteries would run them. If this is what you have, then you need to get different batteries, preferrably from an airsoft supplier as you know they are designed for this use.

Interesting, does that mean my crap Radio Shack battery that I used to run is actualy better suited to run it? Ill have to ask Kos-Mos what the cells are exactly, but thats the ratio, according to him it should have worked, but guess thats not the case.
Thanks buddy lol, anyone else got an idea?

How's the shimming? If it's not correct this sort of symptom can result.

Could be, im no expert at all, but I was taught by the master himself ILLusion briefly awhile back, its not to tight, or to lose. I did have a lose bushing, but I knicked the socket just a bit to tighten it up and secure it. I know the couple of experts locally that have taken a quick look, said the shimming looked just fine. But just to be safe, would loosening it up a bit help? or maybe a couple main factors to look for?

If your gun runs fine with another battery, but won't with yours, then the problem is the battery.

There's lots of different cells available to do lots of different jobs. You just might not have the right ones. No biggy!!

You should see the batteries I got in for my Systema M4. The 12v battery has cells like I've never seen before. I heard they're hard to find as loose cells, but everything is for a PTW.

If they say it's fine, it likely is. It's not often bad shimming will cause this, it's just one thing to look at. The battery issue noted above is a much more likely culprit.

I have a few battery cells here with me, think it would be overkill to build myself like a 12V battery for it lol..

After carefull consideration and thought, and talking to my battery guy... Im toning that down to 10.8 and see how it goes. 12 would be major overkill. Litterally.
