Nozzle head not functioning?....
I upgraded my CA m15a4, but now the nozzle head is not functioning. It goes back and forth, but it does that in a really small range. I checked the gearbox several times already, it looks fine. But every time i opened the gearbox, the sector plate is bending. It seems like the plate did not go through a full cycle.
The spring i upgraded is a PDI150, new guarder cylinder set and new spring guide. Any idea why this happens.......? Last edited by chaseyue; March 23rd, 2007 at 02:18.. |

Is the nozzle attached properly to the tappet plate?
Bring it to a local gun doctor if that is not the problem. I cant recommend a local person since your profile does not tell your location. |

take a good look at the tappet plate spring. Sounds to me like the gear that slaps it is operating. If that spring is not drawing it forward, that the pate is not going a head and the gear only pushes it back a bit.
Next, if the above doesn't work, look down the length of the tappet plate, see if its really bent. Try to see if there is any wear on the plate itself, look along where it is pushed by the gear and see if there is any wear to suggest that it shifts and gets pushed aside from the pin. But, if that tappet plate is fine, and you have correctly shoed the nozzle into the tappet plate ((check the grooves make sure they're meshing together)) then my bet is on that spring, if you bent it or its become stretched/twisted in someway.
