Good buy or Crap?

My friend is getting this gun:

i just hope it isnt total crap, it actually dosent look that bad (for the price, anyways)

What is your opinion?

Customs wont let it in to Canada. Speedy toys is an American company

Really? they supposedly ship to canada. What are the chances of it getin through, it has an US orange tip

you do realize that they are an american company and the order if its being shipped to canada will be seized and a whole host of bad things can happen from that point. you have an under 10% chance of it actually making it over the boarder. if its seized it will be without any compensation for your friend. the orange means nothing to canada customs.

they wouldnt even give a warning on their site? bastards. i mean you guys have probally heard of customs seizing stuff, guns, but are you really 100% sure, or just sayin this so we have to order through a canadian site.

Should know that. They do say they are not responsible for Canadian orders in the FAQ. They used to have a message on the checkout that told us that Canadian guns get seized.

EDIT - Post 911... until those last two threads I posted in get trashed.

If on the 5% chance it does get through, just find someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to servicing mechboxes. Have them open it up and throw in a set of metal bushings and a TM original spring/piston set and it should run for a while. Although I really would throw in a new tappet plate as well.

Again, that's a big "if", the odds aren't in your favour when it comes to full aegs.
