Reloading Hi-Capa mags from the top (from mag lip)

Hi,
I bought a TM speedloader for my ak, and it came with a very nice adapter for loading pistol mags. Does anyone here consistently load their Hi-Capa mags from the mag lip? Has this negatively affected your gun at all?

Also, I'd be very appreciative if someone could tell me what the TM Manual says about this matter. I can't read japanese...which is kinda a pain for airsoft.

Thanks very much

Why not just ignore the adaptor and squeeze your rounds in from the bottom where that mag is supposed to be loaded from? Not worth damaging the BBs by forcing them through the wrong end of the feed lips.

Remember, it's an exit, not an entrance! Lol, sorry I had to.

I do it from the top for convenience. A mag lip is a relatively cheap replacement even if it's broken some time down the road.

Yeah, it's a lot more convenient.
Phenom have you noticed any thing wearing down because of this? ie. more double feeds etc...?

BTW: Does the manual say to not insert BB's from the top?

Well, I don't use my pistol that often, so I haven't really loaded my mag that many time. Maybe 5-8 times in the basement for plinking.

Do you have the mag loader that looks like an M4 Mag, and has the flip down lip for pistols? I use that to load my HiCapa mags from the top and haven't had any problems because of it... The mag lips seem to be a hard rubber which doesn't wear easy but it's got some give to it. Can't see it hurting the BB's at all...

Besides, sometimes it's ok to in through the exit... just go easy.. hehe
