Systema Helical Gear Set ( Infinity ) or Prometheus MAX torque up?

Hi,

I need your opinions if which is more better gear? regardless the price.
I gonna upgrade my gun to 400-450 FPS. Here is some of my list, but i don't know if this would reach 400-450 FPS. I hope you can have some tips on what is better gear to put in. I hope there upgrades will not shorten the lifespan of my gun or destroy my gearbox. i hope you can share some light. THANKS :-D

Systema Reinforced Spring Guide w/ bearing
Deep Fire Titanium Piston or PolyCarbonate?
Systema Silicon Piston Head w/ bearing
Systema Helical Gear Super Torque Up Set ( Infinity ) or Prometheus MAX torque up?

Gonna do you a favour without answering your question (not very familiar with your choices). When people around here see that you are considering knowking your AEG up to 450fps, they get grumpy and start demanding where you expect to play with a gun that hot (limits in Canada are 400fps max for AEGs). So, my point is, anyone who reads this, radzchin lives in the Phillipines!!!!

Welcome to ASC! Just wanted to help make your visit more productive without the hassles others get at times.

M120S (not M120, make sure it's the "S" version) might be your best bet for spring... It probably won't bring you all the way up to 450FPS, but depending on the gun, probably around 425FPS. However, it's very consistent, which is more important than pure FPS.

The spring guide and piston head are fine. You might want to look into a Prometheus POM piston head instead, as I've heard that it's even easier on the mechbox, which is important in high-FPS setups.

The infinity torque-up set is overkill. It'll drop your ROF. The Prometheus max torque is a better choice.

Running at such a high FPS, you're eventually going to kill something in your gun. If you've got an all-metal piston, what's going to happen is you're either going to destroy your gears or your motor or something else. Stick with a polycarbonate piston and let it be the weakest link, as it's also the cheapest part to replace.

by the way, i own a CA33E. i really don't know why my friends who own a 450-500 FPS guns don't break. i mean, thier gear box is still intact. they have M15-m170 kind of spring. WICKED SICK!!! it can break a wine bottle. :smack: . me? i just want a decent FPS. like around 400-450. if u can ust play here in the philippines. A mere plywood won't do for a cover. the BB's will just go through the plywood like a hot knife though a butter. Don;t worry, there is no FPS limit here in the philippines. We love to get hurt. it heps us feel the essence of the game. BUT we wear full swat armor so the BB's won't penetrate the skin. LOLZ Crazy?? hehehe

this is what i've they've suggested me:

Assault Rifle: CA33E <-- my current gun
Systema Infinity since they told me this is the best gear you can get.
Deep fire titanium piston body
Prometheus POM piston head- i hope it has a bearing
M120 or M140 spring or any other better springs?

i really don't know how to combine the parts. i jsut want to use a M120-M130 spring but it will reach 400-450 so the other parts will be fine in the long run. Stronger spring, lesser the lifespan of the parts, ryt?

I hope someone could share any thougts on how to have a gun that fires 400-450 FPS with a M120S-M130 spring. Any ideas?

One more think, i like to thank for those who shared infos.thnx also for the warm welcome CDN_Stalker. :salute:

I'd say that if you're just pushing a 400-450fps spring, all you'd really need is the Prometheus double or triple torque set.

Who is "they"?

I have a set of Systema torque up gears (equivalent to Prometheus Double Torque) that has lasted me for 4 years now, most of which was at 400fps.
