Any G3 Expert Here??
Can real G3 Slimline Green Handguard fit on the T.M. G3?
Any heavy modification needed? Thanks!

I don't have any experience with the TM G3 really, but I doubt that the real-steel G3 grips would fit without modification. BTW, what version G3 do you have (A3, A4, SG/1) and what version are those grips made for? They look like A3's. If you did want them to fit though I suspect you could just rip the old ones out and glue those in.

Regular G3 grips go around the receiver... I belive this one fits into a ridge on the front of the receiver that doesn't exist on the airsoft versions. You'd either have to cut the receiver, greatly reducing its strength, or cut the foregrip and find another way of securing it at the rear. Refer to this diagram: http://world.guns.ru/assault/hk_g3_cut1.jpg

I have been told that it would fit without any problems whatsoever...
I guess it's all opinions |

It will definitely need some modifications. I've never tried it, so I dont know exactly what all you would need to do, but just by looking at that pic, I can tell you that you WILL need to do modifications to it.
