Try pulling the trigger back and holding while inserting the bolt. Never even seen a Super 9, so I don't have any real solid answers, but a few real steel bolt actions I've dealt with over the years you hold the trigger to remove and replace the bolt.
Now that I'm actually thinking about airsoft sniper rifles, of the spring variety, you have to remove the stock and trigger assembly to be able to put the bolt in, then screw the trigger assembly on then put the stock on. Million dollar question I'd like to know, why was the bolt not installed in the first place? :???: |

The Super 9 comes in about 5+ parts that have to be installed... saves on assembly for the company and space.

i found out what the problem was  But i have no idea how to fix it. The catch is supposed to go up, between back end of the bolt and between the spring guide. The space is about 1/2 inch wide while the catc his about 1 inch wide. I'm totally stumped on how to make it fit. :?

Either you didn't infact find the problem and you should read the instructions, which is most likely, or, my favorite, not recomended though... Time to cut plastic!

You have to compress the cylinder to be able to insert the part into the gun.
Takes four hands and a vise clamp... Sad to tell you this, but you just spent cash on one of the absolute worst airsoft guns available. |

He's in California, so at least he didn't spend much on it. Still, Super 9...............
