Brick Battery Stock for M4
Hey guys, wanted to show off what I've been working on lately. I've designed a 3D printable (STL not for sale) stock that works with M4 style buffer tubes that can hold large brick type lipos. I've been through 6+ design revisions and I'm happy to say it does what I want it to now while also not looking totally like a turd. Its sized to fit up to a Turnigy BOLT 3s 2400mah 65-130C (link). Realistically its about the same size as a Crane stock, and just as adjustable.
My intent is to sell them on Etsy, but right now I am looking for beta testers to give them a try and spread the good word. Don't mind the print quality, I'm not too happy with the material I'm using right now but its working for functional prototypes. If you'd like to follow my progress of designing, testing and releasing this product the images below are clickable and will take you to my Instagram account. Enough talk, here's the photos! Has anyone taken you up on this offer yet? This looks like a great idea.

I've got two beta testers so far. Still working out material issues before I send out samples, so there's still time to get involved!

neat.
I'm a nutjob who would always like the battery compartment to be bigger (I've got one of those stubby "full" stocks), but I wouldn't mind at least trying one.

I am in a similar situation where I am using a large brick battery now stores in a stock pouch.
Interested to know more and see final product. I wouldn't mind trying it out too.

If you've contacted me by PM to be a tester I have your unit packaged and ready to send out. Please check your PM inbox.
I have one more unit I can send out for testing, however it is a blemished unit. The blemish should not affect function. Please contact me by PM if you'd like to give that one a shot! |
