TM M4A1 MWS Barrels & Hop-up Upgrade Recommendations

I'm looking to upgrade the internals of my gbbr, and I was thinking I'd focus on the inner barrel/hop-up setup first. All other internal components as of now are stock.

I've done a few hours of research, and I was thinking of picking up an EDGI custom inner barrel (363mm, 6.05 bore, no bridge, VSR cut, standard outer diameter and un-ported) but am having some trouble selecting parts for the hopup assembly.

Do the barrel specifications sound appropriate for this particular model of rifle? What does a "bull barrel" outer diameter do? Are there cheaper options that would basically fulfill the same purpose of increasing fps for use with heavier (~.3s-.4s) bbs? What would be best for the MWS in particular?

What hopup component upgrades would be recommended for the MWS gbbr? Most recommendations I see are no longer available for purchase as far as I can find.
