Help in replacing a VFC Battle Grip M27 (aeg)

Hello

I have bought a AEG VFC M27 and the Battle Grip has some type of "plastic pin" sticking out in order to position your fingers. However this is sticking into my ring finger.

I would like to exchange the VFC Battle grip for a regular grip without any "pin" sticking out.

Anyone knows which would be the best one ? Meaning that it would be a perfect fit and that the motor would fit nicely inside ?

Also, do you know if i am running into troubles by doing this since i could interfere with the position of the motor therefore creating problems long terms ?

Here is the VFC battle grip - The "pin" is close to the W in the picture

I am looking to get a grip that would feels like this:

Do you know if the Amoeba one would actually work as a replacement ?

Thanks in advance for all your helps and comments

Dan

pretty sure most m4 grips for v2 gearboxes are interchangable unless they changed the design. But you could always dremel that nub off and then smooth it out or stipple it. Thats what i did.

Why not just file it down? That's what I did.

file it down if you don't care about resale value. Any v2 pistol grip will fit. Some better than others. The only ones I know that have issues are magpul moe and the fake magpul moe grips. the threaded screw hole on the bottom for the motor height adjuster is too tall, throwing off the motor height. You can just grind to first few rows of threading off with a dremel and they are usually fine. Just be careful of pinching wires when you put the motor back in.

You can file it down, but I find the stock VFC grips have a terrible motor angle for any motor other then the stock VFC one, which is terribad and should be thrown away. I currently use the dytac tango down grip on my VFC 416 which is identical to yours minus a bit of length and the trades say HK CQB etc... To answer your question any grip that will fit on an m4 will most likly fit on the m27. As ASC has turned my pic into a potato here is a link to the instagrams with the full res photo:
