Piercing the body to install siderails?
Hi guys, i was searching in the forum and cant find anything about this... So here are my question:
I have an Cyma Ak 105 cm0.31b (It's my first AEG and here in Brazil it's a little difficulty and expensive to find the top brands) and she dont has the dovetail/siderail to install any red dot.. The alternative would be to change the handguard or to put the rail on the rear sight, but I think ak gets a strange look. So i bought this dovetail/siderail to install in my AK. The question is, i dont like the visual with the red dots above the handguard so what i need to do is pierce the body to install the dovetail and the siderail.. Has anyone done this kind of work? May i have any problem doing this? Excuse my language, english is not my native idiom. Thank you |

Drill 3 holes. Install bracket. Probably use blue loctite on the screws.
Yes, its that simple. |

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

The body (in most cases) should have some dimples or divets to indicate where the holes go
