Engravers/gunsmiths who work of airsoft guns?
Hey, sorry if there is readily available info on this subject, I am having a hard time searching for this topic.
Anyway, I have a few pieces I want some things done to. First off, I have a KJW 1911 slide I would like to modify to take 5.1 hi-capa sights, and add front vertical cocking serrations onto. I also want to put some letters and numbers on one side of the slide. I also have a GHK M4 lower I would like engraved with some RS trades. I was not sure who to contact about these things I want done. I considered contacting actual gunsmiths in Ontario, but most of the webpages I find only do real firearms. Part of me feels like I would be laughed at for asking someone to do these things to a BB gun when their portfolios are full of high-end shotgun engraving and wood checkering. I also contacted some local CNC shops and they refuse to do any work on anything firearm related(which makes perfect sense). So I am at a loss for what to do. I figured maybe someone here has had the same idea and already has some contact info of someone who is willing to do these things. If anybody can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Sorry if this is in the wrong area. |
