TM/WE Glock 17 and Glock 18 Cross Compatibility

I want to swap out the internals of my Echo1 Timberwolf to a WE Glock 18 Hammer assembly, and BBU. Is there any way I can utilize my existing Glock 17 parts, and put them into the Glock 18? An example would be possible if I could keep my aftermarket Glock 17 sights ,and put them on a Glock 18 slide. I heard 5ku makes terrible Glock sights, but they are cross compatible with the two models.

I have also heard that Ace 1 Arms has a Glock 17 slide assembly, that has a selector switch for full auto. I assume that the BBU that they sell is all that I need to convert it to full auto.

In additional to the slide, BBU, hammer assembly, rear sight, you may also need to change the trigger bar. Basically you keep the frame, outer/inner barrel, small parts such as the pins, front sight and trigger, and replacing everying else to G18...

I am not trying to discourage you from doing this, but what you planned, mix and match aftermarket parts on a WE (actually a Echo1 Timberwolf) just sounds like a recipe for a long-time headache...

Nope, however you can modify the nozzle of a Glock 17 and make it fit a Glock 18.

I said nozzle not BBU. I heard it was possible to modify the nozzles. There is a YouTube video out there that shows the procedure.

If there are any parts you're wondering if they'd be close enough to modify to fit, give me a shout. I can take pictures of whatever stock WE G18 parts you're wondering about and post them so you can compare them to your Timberwolf parts so you can get a general idea of compatibility.
