I do like the thin-ness concept of the G-hop with respect to it being more shape-compliant but there are just so many different ways you can mess it up, such as but not limited to:
* getting glue inside your bore
* making sure there's no barrel intrusion of the rubber
* thin-ness of the rubber means you will have to crank your hop-up to start to see any noticeable effects of hop, this becomes an issue when you want to start lifting heavier rounds and/or high-power builds

The "I" stands for "ICE" for temperatures below 10 celsius. If you are not outside playing in minus 10 celsius often don't bother with using a "I" type material

For this reason I try the IR-hop and it look better (But I didn't have the time to try it under -5 deg.) but at this time, it's work like a charm.

If you're already overhopping .36s on an rhop, overhopping them even more on an erhop isnt going to help you

Shoot .89s then...

Or file down the patch some more, you shouldn't be using your adjustment wheel/dial you should sand the patch down to the point where you don't overhop the BB then adjust the wheel to what you need (probably moving it <1mm).

Properly setup a I/E/R hop should be set almost no hop and not over hop your BBs for a given weight of BB you set it to.

you misunderstood my point
If you can adjust the Rhop to the point where it can overhop the BBs you're using, than there's no reason to use an even longer contact patch.

I see your point, but if you are adjusting an R hop you're not doing it right.

Then how would I transition between .25s and .32s without adjusting the dial? lol

They should provide little to no hop on a .20 when installed properly, then you dial it in to whatever weight of ammo you're using.
