For a total of 9 inch extension, yes.
Since then you changed your inner barrel length significantly, you may also need to look at the porting of your cylinder and if it is suitable for the new inner barrel length.

you don't necessarily have to, but if this is an aeg and your barrel is less than 455mm you might want to extend upto that for minute accuracy gains

The lenght wont improve accuracy but a good consistant inner will. What gun is this for?

If PTW's can get crazy accuracy beyond 200ft with 7", 9" and 14.5" barrels, then you DO NOT need an 18"/455mm barrel

Change the barrel only if you suspect there is a problem with your current barrel. If accuracy is good, there is really no need to change. Also, if your suppressor is foam filled, there will be a slight decrease in the sound output of your rifle, which is never a bad thing (although in AEGs most of the sound comes from the gearbox and in GGBs it comes from the blow back chamber). If you extend the inner barrel all the way through the suppressor, you will lose the sound dampening effect of the suppressor.

Testing shows 455 is optimal for non ported cylinder at about 400-450 fps. This is assuming you have top quality barrel and r hop and planning to build a dmr/sniper rifle. Otherwise Hectic is pretty much correct since the accuracy difference is minimal and a cheaper longer barrel will make things worse.

yeah i find a full cyl. With 455-509x6.03 with .30 or .32 has the best range and groupings with no issues of jams or anything. 6.01 is nice on semi only or bolt action but high volume of fire will either jam from time to time or just get wonky groupings after 500-1000 rounds depending on ammo and environmental.

So if the accuracy is poor why not fix that before extending the barrel?
A good hop rubber and inner barrel will set ya in the right direction.
and yer lookin at 430mm inner length max with the cylender in that gun. m4 length (363mm) is perfect with that cyl and some .28 or .30

A good hop-up rubber and a thorough barrel cleaning might be all that's needed. Good barrels are expensive and usually have poor bang for your bucks so they should be the last thing you change.

Longer inner barrel may not fix it. Inner barrel length has very little to do with accuracy.
Check your air seal and your hop-up first. A good shimming may also help.

Hop rubber and bb weights affects accuracy a lot more than the quality of the inner barrel
But the stock CA barrels are crap, so that doesn't help.
At 363mm you don't need to make the barrel any longer.
