That totally depends on how often you shoot. In my case, I haven't played a game yet; only shot in my back yard...a lot.
Through last summer, fall and this spring, I've gone through about a tank and a half (1.5) of propane, mixed with a $15 purchase of a propane adapter and oil. As it stands, I have yet to dl finish this propane tank, and start a new one.
I've spent roughly $15, and have two Canadian Tire propane tanks ready to party.
My ass is dirt poor, i can afford little, and because of how well GG works, I really don't feel let down at all.
If you start gaming, a few CanTire specials on propane will do well for you.
As for all things, look for promotions, and buy smart, or be a silly twat, and hit whatever you like whenever you like.
One option might keep you in your girl's good graces; the other most certainly will not.

Shitloads. It costs exorbitant shitloads.
Just use propane.

This.

Edit: an 8oz can may get you quite a few mags - maybe you can eek out 30-50? I'm trying to remember how much I go through off the top of my head.
Depends on the mags as well. Some mags hold more gas than others. Some gas systems use more gas than others.

I don't agree. It's cost me so little.

Yeah, but you buy five dollar 16oz containers of propane, not twenty to thirty dollar 5oz containers. (There's seriously a thirty dollar bottle at a certain Toronto based retailer...On sale for $15, but still..)

What an unusual number of rounds...

And as above, use the camping propane bottles with the AI adapter, just make sure you remember to add the silicone oil

Havent baught the gun yet. I am researching cost of a vs b. Everyone always serjests propaine. I read up about the adaptors and kits.

Im just wondering how many mags i can squeeze out of a bottle of 8oz green gas before its empty.

The cost of the propane is negligible. One $5 tank will likely last you at least 3 game days. I don't pull my trigger very often, so it's hard for me to estimate how other people would last.

However, the nature of gas guns, is such that you won't be dumping 120 rounds in a 30 second fire fight. So lasting 3 or 4 games is partially because you won't be shooting as much as you would with an AEG.

The amount of rounds in a green gas canister is significantly less than the # of mags you gets from a propane tank at 1/3 the cost.
Someone did a price comparison a while back, suffice it to say green gas was around 3x more expensive than running propane with no real benefits.
