[HELP] TRI prc152 + Peltor PTT (orig.) + Headset Peltor (orig.)
Hi all guys
I'm writing here hoping is the right place. I have a problem with my my radio system: I have a TRI Prc 152 and want to use my original Peltor PTT and Peltor Comtact I, because my reenacting set-up ask for them, but I don't know how to cable radio and/or ptt to make them works toghether. This is the circuit of my ptt: The Pin are set in this way: A Yellos B White C Green D Black E Red F Brown When i use it i have no sound in Headset, still keep come out from radio. Only a things works: when i push PTT there is an imput to radio (i see radio screen changing color) but can not comunicate. Hope you can help me. if ou need more information just ask. The TRI PRC 152 has impedance issues with real PTT/headsets. As far as I know the radio has to be modified to get them to work. Toy Soldier in Japan sells these radios already modified but it'll cost you a pretty penny. They DO work with real headsets/PTTs tho

I don't recall who actually made it but there is a plug in board (that Toy Soldier either uses or makes) that amplifies the radio so that it can use the real headset and PTT.

Urgh... The Aus army is moving to Harris.
My Coy was doing the testing for them back in 2011, the radios themselves weren't that bad but when you had to hook up 4 of them into a vehicle suite and then all the cabling involved, hell, death seemed like an easier option! |
