We HiCappa 5.1

I have an issue with the gun firing 3 or 4 rounds normally and then I have to manually cock the gun each time to get it to fire for the rest of the magazine. Any ideas or thoughts for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

(Problem occurs on all 3 of the magazines and they are full with gas, no leaks)

We will need more information to help you.

- Does the gun still blow back normally, with full slide travel?
- Does it make a weird gas escaping sound?
- Is the trigger stiffer than normal?

Yes the gun does seem to blow back normally.
I did just notice a slight strange gas escaping noise
Trigger response feels normal.

Ok, you might have a cracked loading nozzle. Get the nozzle out of the slide, and gently try to bend it and squish it and see if there's a crack somewhere. Also, look at the BB loading tab, if it is broken or damaged, it might have trouble loading BBs. On the picture below its the little "arm" you see on the bottom left of the nozzle.

Slowly rack the slide, and look through the ejection port. Does the loading nozzle get stuck into the hop-up chamber or does it travel freely?

It is difficult to tell but there seams to be a slight hang up and a click noise just before it releases. I have tried it with 2 different inner barrels with seperate hop ups, same results.

This is probably normal. When the loading nozzle is stuck, you have to slide the slide more than halfway before the loading nozzle gets out of the hop-up rubber.

Well, if that still doesn't work, maybe the magazine is misaligned. Is part 52 in good shape? Sometimes the tab that lines up the magazine correctly breaks and it can lead to feeding and gas efficiency problems.

This seems strange but I dissasembled entire gun cleaned each part, reassembled and it fires fine again.

This is not strange at all, sometimes that's all that is needed. Let's just hope the problem doesn't come back after a few mags in game.
