Lonex V2 Gearbox Compatible Recievers

Hey guys,

I got some new internal parts and i can't seem to fit the Lonex V2 Gearbox into my G&G M16 Receiver even though it said "compatible with all V2 gearboxes". So now i am running around trying to find a receiver that fits it i got $300.00 to blow on an overhaul unless i get a new AEG maybe a Kingarms if it comes to that where can i buy a receiver that's KA? I hear they can fit a lonex v2 just fine but i am not sure after reading about them. :banghead:

Please Haelp! I am beating myself up here.

I did a full lonex Build in a G@G GR16 Gearbox, Fit perfect .

I read in a few places that the Lonex FULL gearbox does not fit in the G@G GR16 lower.

Elaborated. The gearbox doesn't fit it on a G&G lower the position on it is off. :banghead:

every gearbox will fit a bit differently one way or another in any brand's receivers. that's just the way it is. There's no 100% guarantee with anything in airsoft. That being said, I have one in a plastic receiver at the moment... works fine.

I believe the dimensions of the lonex box were pulled off of the vfc gearbox, even though there are no pins/holes to mount the vfc bolt catch.

I've got one sitting fairly nicely in a SRC m4a1, it required minor filing and sanding on the inside of the upper receiver to fit (i think because the cylinder installed in the gearbox is grooved on the outside and maybe a half a mm thicker than the SRC one) but to be honest the stock gearbox was a bit of a struggle getting everything together as well. You may need minor modification if the fit is only slightly off in the set up you've got now.

Is it the standard or blowback version?
