150% recoil springs
Anyone know any Canadian retailers that sell 150% recoil springs for KWA or KSC? Only place I can find them atm is on the Asian websites. Ive had great luck so far asking these questions here as many retailers don't have their smaller items or new arrivals on their websites yet so here hoping.
As well, what other parts of my gun should I consider replacing? Im concerned that the recoil springs will wear and tear at my other stock parts. The gun is a mk23 from kwa btw.

question is, why are you replacing anything to begin with?

Because I want to, and the recoil from the gun currently just feels quite weak. It cycles okayish, but I want it to be crisper and have more kick to it. Its a big gun it should feel like it. It shouldn't feel like a kj 226.

The recoil spring doesn't increase kick. It does quite the opposite. If you want to increase kick, you can get high flow valves for your mags, but this will increase your fps and gas consumption. The upgraded recoil spring will make the gun more crisp by returning the slide faster, but it won't give you more recoil.

also, in attempting to resolve the hot weather/overpressured propane issue in my kwa 226 in the summer I installed an upgraded hammer and recoil springs as discovered by several other owners, this fixes the non fire issue... but the slide stopped locking back on last round.
Messing with the spring ratios in the parts can upset the functional balance... releasing the knocker valve for a longer interval released more gas that cycled the slide much faster and returned it faster with the recoil spring.. fast enough that the spring in the catch couldn't do its job.

heavier slides increase recoil, but if you want a heavier metal slide, you need to upgrade everything else to handle the slide accordingly
