I was just as shocked as you guys... watching your body language as you got hit, and I wasn't even sure if you were being hit at all, so I kept shooting till I saw the arms out in utter disbelief :P
What was crazy about the overhop issue is that I wasn't even flat aiming at you, I was actually aiming at the ground some ways away and they were bending up and flat to go through those windows and doors. I could visually see the range where they were bending, the rest was a bit of hope and prayer till it was confirmed they were hitting.
On google's satellite photo of the site I estimate the range to be somewhere between 75-85m since I wasn't just shooting at the near targets, I was also shooting at some of the farther guys into the village.
But the setup was a p90 with a 247mm madbull 6.03 and the ir-hop with mnub. 385ish fps with .2s... but shooting .32 bioshots. My squad had 3 other guns set up with r-hops at the game. Which included our 2 support guns. This year we're bringing a couple more as guns are coming in for service/upgrading.
While I had great success in that extreme range, due to the height over bore and possibly the overhop issue, I was having problems in that near and mid range from 20-40m. The worst moment was when I was laying in the trees between the tan mortar and the village and could not for the life of me hit anyone in the huts. Since at the time I was laying facing into the sun I was also having issues tracking my rounds so I had no idea where they were going, but I think 4 or 5 guys ended up not getting hit and running me out of ammo in an extended firefight.
