Returning to the game. Help me with a GBBR/EBB

Used to play for a few years in England, until I moved to BC and sold all my gear prior.
Now that I'm ready to return to the game I'm looking at a GBBR as my primary.
My son also plays, so I want an EBB for him/me to swap.
My shortlist for the GBBR is just the VFC COLT MK18 MOD 1 V3 GBBR

For the AEG, I was after the TM HK416D/Devgru, but they all but disappeared in Canada.

Any holdups on the VFC as the GBBR? Anything else to consider?

But, mostly, what do I do for an AEG with a recoil? Any chance on finding a new TM? What are the reliable and available alternatives in Canada?

I came across Evike's EMG DANIEL DEFENCE LICENSED MK18 LITE, but can't find many reviews on them (that aren't Evike's).

As a side, I'm only after M4/MK18/HK416 platform.
