First gun back in airsoft

I?ve decided to get back into airsoft after a few years out of the sport/hobby. I don?t have much intention of playing regularly, and realize I?m more of a chairsofter than anything else.

I enjoy airsoft guns for their simulation and realism, so I?m trying to find something that satisfies those qualities mostly.

I love bolt action snipers, and cloning US military m4?s. When I think about buying a first gun (again), I?ve been contemplating an Ares Striker or something that is GBB. I might even consider converting a bolt action to HPA down the road.

If anyone has some thoughts, please feel free to share

Gas Blowback is great for a chairsofter. If you plan to game, electric is still the most reliable. HPA is also good, but you need lots of money to get into that game.

For Chairsofting and collecting, Id suggest you can go with the nice Vipertech GBBRs if you can get your hands on those for realism. they're prob one of the nicest GBBRs in terms of realism.

THen of course if you're planning to skirm and game Then I'd go Marui MWS or GHK.

At the end of the day it all depends on how much moolah you wana spend and how deep of a hole you wana go

I'm sort of in the same boat. Just looking for something to do shooting drills with, but without spending $1000 on the GBBR and a handful of mags.
