Upgrading TM G3-SG1

Im trying to make a buget and a list to upgrade my TM G3-SG1 this winter so far this is my list.

Guarder spring SP120

Prometheus High Speed Gear Full Set for Ver.2 Gear

http://www.combatdepot.com/default.a...c=jmmqgpipnrc8

thigh bore barrel a bit longer than the stock one as a plan to put a silencer also.

Right now my gun is completly stock and i plan on using .25g bb.
I want to use it for what it was made for in real life ,a sniper support weapon.

So i want to know if you guys and girls would do it differently.
Do i overkill???
Will i need higher voltage than 8.4 that im currently using???

Thanks a lot.

Start by reading the posts that are at the top of this particular forum.

All you really need is a new primary spring and a set of metal bushings, then keep it sanely under 400fps. The rest is skill and hopup adjustments.

I'd Also suggest a Tightbore, and a Spring Guide. With a PDI 150 Equivlent, metal bushing and all that, you'll be pushing 385ish. The tightbore will really help to group your shots a whole lot better.

also look at upgrading your battery if you havent done so. you may want to look at a 9.6V after your mod, you may have to hollow out the stock indoor to fit one.

Long enough? What are you talking about? The suggestion was for a TIGHTBORE barrel, not a longer barrel.

I used to own a G3SG1, and what worked perfectly for me was a PDI150% and metal bushings. The rest stayed the same.
