Magpul Masada PTS SV
Hi Guys,
I have a couple issue with my Masada atm. I hope somebody could help me to fix it. First is, I'm having a hard time removing one of the QD Mount at the stock. I want to put it on the other side, but it's hard to pull it out (screw is already taken out). Is there a right way removing this? Second is, I'm getting a wobble on the outer barrel. It bothers me alot. It looks like one of the shims is gone. Is there any way I could replace those? Prolly any DIY? But the thing is when I lock it back and turn the hinged barrel wrench like almost out of the center (150 degrees angle) there are no wobbles at all, but my concern is, will it effect anything on it? Not being place in the center. Thanks -Mark |

Try using a punch and hammer to tap out the QD mount. You can make shims from soda cans if you can't find the right size. You should try and tighten the lug nut to center. Make those shims to help you.

It's not suppose to be Centred. It's correct to turn it until it's tight.
