ACR Replacement Trigger

I've been keeping y eyes open. But has anyone seen a replacement for the micro switching acr trigger? I'd like to run a MOSFET.

Heres a replacement for the microswitch http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea...3-ND&x=15&y=13
It was recommended by very reputable gundocs on ASM. Its not suggested to use this without a FET (which you will be doing the opposite).
Extreme Fire has a SW-UCM that is fixes the bouncing of the microswitch as well for $65 (not including shipping).

I was hoping for a new mechanical trigger. But that may work. Nice a MOSFET controller. If they could install that feature into a standard MOSFET.

Looks like running two computers may be a pain.

Thanks

I believe this is the thread where they discuss the issues and why it's bad to use a microswitch.

Terry comes up with a plan:

You're looking at about 150$ for the ucm and the cheetah 2n as a solution though.

Same problem in CA 249s, or really any aeg with a microswitch. The poor quality ones never maintain proper contact. You just need a higher quality switch and that should fix the issue.
Otherwise I can look into modding your ACR to use a PTW trigger and button switch for a 3mm trigger pull

Wow. Ucm is 65 and he wants 20 shipping. Talk about gouging your international customers.

usps shipping for priority went up unfortunately... there was a discussion about it on asm. All of those guys who are selling custom stuff are just as pissed about it.

You can ship first class but the loss rate is astronomical.

Maybe. But I ship to the USA and have shipped from. Canadian shipping costs more and it doesn't cost that much to ship something that small.

The biggest way to loose my business is to lie about shipping costs. Charge the actual cost. Don't round up to the nearest $20

dude, you're accusing someone who's reputation of being arguably the finest customer support in the entire airsoft industry of lying about shipping costs.

I shipped a cheetah unit that I bought second hand back to him (after spending a number of emails trying to diagnose the issue) We both concluded it may have fried itself and he insisted I send it back to him. Not only did he pull it apart, check every micrometer of it, AND replace a couple worn screw terminals only to find out nothing was wrong with it, he shipped it back to me without charging a dime, even after I insisted I give him something for his time.

Call him a liar if you want. Terry's reputation speaks for itself.

I'd prefer my topic stay on topic and not become a finger pointing game. As I've stated I order and ship to and from the usa multiple times a week big he is using extra fast priority shipping. That's fine. But I'd like the option of a cheaper service.

Of the 200 packages I've had sent regular mail with USPS to me over te last few years I've had one get lost. Than arrive a week late.

I simply stated i wont support that kind of shipping prices. As it should be the buyers choice of they want standard of over night. At $20 I'd expect a battery sized package to be here within 48 hours
