Places to buy a good LiPo Battery

I'm tired of the limited selection of the 'airsoft' stores when it comes to Lipos..

they are either to big.. not enough C rating.. too much C rating.. perfect C rating but to low of a Mah rating.. to high of a voltage or not high enough for all the different set ups i want to run...etc..etc..

People keep talking about RC Car Lipo batteries and to stop using Airsoft brand batteries.. where in Toronto/GTA is there a dedicated RC store that sells a broader selection of Lipos?

Any good hobby shop man. Google magic. I go to Pinnacle Hobby here in Markham for that stuff because I get them for 30-50% cheaper than I would ordering them from online or buying at an airsoft store. HobbyKing would be good to order from as the batteries are cheap, but unless you're ordering a bunch of batteries at once it's not worth the money as you pay out the ass in shipping.

Talk to Stealth. He's been testing out batteries and settled on the GensAce batteries. I trust Stealth to know what he's talking about (although sadly I bought a bunch of Turnigy Nanotechs before he announced he was going to start carrying batteries).

Hobby King (make sure its the global shop), cheap quality batteries, but if you want in country though go to Airsoft Parts or Airsoft Store.

If you are local airsoftparts.ca or airsoft store.ca, Pinnacle hobby (they have high rate dicharge RC batteries) if you need custom eliteairsoft batteries(online) they do custom packs for you too, another place that is local is advanced but only the one on sheppard they know more about airsoft battery requirement there.

I just bought 5 lipos, a charger, and other goodies from Hobby King, and they arrived in Winnipeg within 2 weeks of ordering. Perfectly adequate, IMO.

Was this from the USA warehouse or Global? My experiences with HobbyKing (from Global warehouse - USA never had the items needed) has been six weeks at least.

Hobbyking by far the best for prices...

and ... by far the slowest for anything Ive ever ordered online for anything lol

I heard it was because hong kong or singapore (where ever its international warehouse is) post office wont handle shipping batteries internationally because one incident where a package caught fire inside a airport, so they ship with some other company that ships it to the next country over that will ship batteries internationally...

or something like that... lol

Hobbyking if you can wait, they also have amazing customer support, I received two dead cells and they refunded me with in store credit as soon as I showed them a picture!

I'm going to vouch and recommend stealth @ airsoft store canada. Service was top notch and the price very good! His Genace brand is better quality the nanotechs hobbyking carries.
