MIAD or MOE grip on a VFC SCAR

I just recently purchased a VFC SCAR-L and I want to change the pistol grip. The stock grip is OK but kind of small in my hands. I had a magpul PTS MIAD grip on my last gun and it felt great.

Has anyone successfully put a MOE/MIAD grip on their VFC SCAR? Did it require any heavy mods or did it slap right in? Want to see if anyone has had any success before I order it.

The set linked below comes with the 3 different backs, would one of these work?

Thanks duuuudes.

The VFC SCARS grip is not compatible with other M4 grips. I started working on making one fit but I've not had a chance to work on it recently. You basically need to make a spacer plate to fit between the grip & mechbox and get longer screws. You'll also need to get a longer motor adjustment screw on the grip plate. The reason for this is the mechbox sits higher in the lower receiver on the VFC version. The CA & STAR/ARES scars will work with out needing to mod them significantly. If you finnish it before me post some pics!!

interestingly - the G&G max grips on the entire max line are not compatible with tm style grips - exact same fit as the VFC scar grips - which is to say if u buy a G&G one maybe it'll work.

I'm still weary of picking up a grip not knowing for sure. Did you get yours on IRONSIGHT? If so, wanna post some pics of the mod?

I honestly haven't time. I've not even looked at it since before my last post.

It has worked before. Here's a pic of another person's mod:

Graveyard but i'll be doing this mod for a teammate's VFC Scar-L in the upcomming weeks - doing my research now.

Does anyone know if its just straight sanding on the grip?
