Lipo Resurrection
So after killing a lipo or two I thought I'd do a little research. I came across a R/C forum which suggests using a NiCd or NiMh slow charge @ .3c till you hit 3.25 volts then charge it with a lipo balance charger and praise Jesus come forth lithium power! It worked.
Figured I'd share, *Use this advice at your own risk and always make safety( yours and others) a top priority. Buy a lipo charge bag if needed but you will need to be responsible attempting this. Or DON'T and just buy a new battery. Ratters and for the wide assets, yes I have a low voltage alarm and now use it.:smack:

I have brought back many a dead lipo using that method. Just be verrrry careful. A lipo can go up in flames for seemingly no reason even during a normal charge, moreso when you are trying to resurrect one that's been overdischarged.
Some dumbass in my RC club a while back decided to be lazy and charge his lipo while it was still in the car. It blew up while he was in the other room and took his $800 car with it... |
