Broxa Mp5 - Not 14mm Threads
I am trying to mount a 14mm thread tracer unit onto a broxa aftermath mp5.
The threads on the mp5 muzzle are smaller than 14mm and don't catch at all. They are probably 12mm. Are there any suggestions on aftermarket 14mm replacement muzzles for mp5 that would fit a broxa, and where to buy them in Canada? |

Do you mean the tracer units just slides on and off overtop of the threads?

Yes, the tracer just barely rubs the threads over top of the muzzle but is too large to catch them.
It's this tracer unit here: http://www.torontoairsoft.com/Big-Dr...nit_p_419.html Last edited by mack_silent; December 15th, 2012 at 17:33.. |

As seen in this review they seem to have the same problem, obviously the barrel is off spec, you may try what they tried and wrap the treads with teflon tape.

Teflon tape can only make up so much space. Careful not to over do it. If 3-4 wraps don't fill the gap the it won't work.

I bought a 14mm counter clockwise threaded muzzle flash for mine and fit perfect.

A friend of mine put a 14mm silencer on his Broxa MP5 and it worked with no issues....

Did the threads get stripped when taking off the flashider by accident?

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

Are you sure it's not a 16mm tracer unit?

It's definitely 14mm threads on the tracer unit and they aren't stripped.
I'll check online for a replacement muzzle part. Thanks! |
