We P226

I have been searching allover to get a impression of this gun, but its very hard to get anything.

Here are my question:
-Does anyone have one, and what are your general impressions of it
-Is it a clone, do mags from other brands work with it, and can you put other brand parts into it

Thanks for your time
sam

Thumbs up We p226

From what I've heard, great gun. Worth it if you can find one (I've been unsuccessful so far, let me know if you have any better luck).

Here's a good review of it. It says "mystery" gun in the title but if you look in the comments below you'll see it is the WE P226.

I've sold 2 of the P228's. They can take KJW P229 mags (and therefore should take TM P226 mags). I would assume the P226 is the same design.

There's a review thread on Arnies I believe.

They're very nicely finished. They operate well. Very solid pistol. Trigger pull is bit mushy (but I find all of the 226's like that in comparison to others). Various mags seemed to work (but I can't be certain as to which ones)

Accuracy and hopup application was poor. I'm sure that it could be improved a bit...but after doing a few quick drills with it I'd had enough to pass it back to the owner and not touch it again.

If its TM compatible the hop-up issue can be solved pretty easily I'd think...
