G&P RIS Install Help

Hey all, I'm building a MK18 Mod 0 and I'm having trouble with the RIS. I'm using a G&P Metal body, G&P RIS with G&P Delta ring. The trouble I'm having is getting to the rear of the RIS to seat properly in the "splines" of the delta ring.

Anyone with experience that can lend a hand? The frustration is building, and I usually break stuff when this happens

Thanks in advance!

Did you use an AR wrench to tighten the barrel nut on the delta ring assy?

What's not lining up exactly anyways? Is it the crown thing on the barrel nut that's not straight and not allowing it to sit correctly up and down?

Yeah, the barrel nut wasn't quite centered properly, a little brute force eventually solved the problem. Thought there might have been a trick to it...

Have you tried using barrel nut washers such as these from Madbull?
