How to maintain my CO2 Pistol?
I just bought my first Co2 pistol and would love to know how to maintain it and get the most out of it. It is a Skeleton Sidearms SS802 prowler. It's my first "decent" gun as I am moving up from the whole walmart/canadian tire airsoft gun genre.
I'm mostly using it for target practice, not air soft fights. What should I use (I know not to use WD-40) How should I clean it/maintain it/lube it? How to dismantle it to clean it? (Do I even have to?) How often? Any links to videos/instruction or anything will help. Thank you so much! Also any tips on how to insert a CO2 cartridge would be greatly helpful! Do a search on YouTube for your gun, I'm sure you will find a wealth of informative vids. Just make sure you put your exact make and model.

Do you have the user's manual?

Tips for how to maintain a gas blowback pistol are all over this site, they should apply just as well to yours. In general, I'd lubricate it after any heavy use (ie a day of gaming, a few hours of shooting). Use silicone oil, after removing any oil leftover from the last time it was lubricated, apply it to any moving parts (slide rails, hammer, etc.) as well as any rubber seals. I'd learn how to dismantle your pistol even if you don't 'have' to, it's just good practice to know how it works.

I've ordered it. Should be here this week and there are no youtube videos specific to my model on youtube. I tried google too.

It should come with a manual, most things do. Read through that and it should cover most of your bases.
Past that, just find a few guides on caring for a GBB pistol (few on this forum) and you're golden.
